We test with bankrolls of at least the tool's recommended minimum so the data reflects realistic user outcomes.
90-day windows
Each tool is tested for at least 90 days to smooth variance and assess sustained edge.
Transparent data
We publish CLV, ROI, and number of bets placed for each tool - no cherry-picked screenshots.
Real subscriptions
We pay full retail for every tool. No comped accounts, no advance previews.

Our 5-step testing process
- Subscribe and configure. Sign up at full price, configure filters according to the tool's recommended defaults.
- Place real bets. Place at least 100 bets across the tool's primary use case (+EV, arb, AI picks, etc.).
- Track CLV and ROI. Log every bet's closing line value and ROI. CLV is the single best leading indicator of long-term edge.
- Stress-test edge cases. Test customer support response times, region restrictions, and how the tool handles bookmaker outages.
- Score and publish. Compile pros, cons, and final score. Publish with all underlying data linked.

How we handle tool changes
Fan Bet Odds reviews every tool's score quarterly and after any major pricing, feature, or coverage change. If a tool degrades significantly — for example a bookmaker ban wave reducing coverage by 30%+ — we update the review within 7 days and note the change on the tool's review page. We have removed previously-recommended tools whose test results failed to meet our minimum ROI threshold.
