What is Arbitrage Scanner?
Software that monitors prices across bookmakers and alerts when an arbitrage opportunity appears.
Definition
An arb scanner continuously polls 50-100 bookmakers and computes the inverse-odds sum for every market. When the sum drops below 1.0, it surfaces the arb with calculated stakes per side. RebelBetting and BetBurger are the European leaders; ProfitDuel and SureBet target the US market. Margins per arb are 1-5%, but accounts get limited fast at soft books. Pair with sharp books (Pinnacle) and exchanges (Smarkets) for arb sustainability.
Example
BetBurger flags Real Madrid 2.30 at Stake / Draw 4.00 at Bwin / Barca 3.60 at Bet365. Sum 1/2.30 + 1/4.00 + 1/3.60 = 0.97 → 3% arb.
