Definition
Best Price Guarantee (BPG) — also called Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG) — is a UK and Irish horse racing tradition where, if your horse's starting price is higher than the price you took, you're paid at the better price. Some books extend BPG to football and other sports during major events. Functionally a free upgrade — never bet at a non-BPG book if a BPG book offers the same line. Bet365, William Hill and Paddy Power are the major BPG providers.
Example
Back a horse at 5.00 with BPG. Race starts at 8.00. You're paid at 8.00 — a free 60% upgrade on the same bet.
