What is First Goalscorer?
A bet on which player will score the opening goal of the match.
Definition
First Goalscorer (FGS) bets the player to net the match's first goal. Strikers from favoured sides get the shortest prices (4.00-6.00 for the team's main marksman). Bookmakers void the bet if your player doesn't take the field, and most refund stake if your player comes on after the first goal is already scored — check operator-specific rules. High-margin market (15-20%).
Example
Mbappé to score first vs Saudi Arabia at 4.50. He nets in the 12th minute → wins. He scores in the 30th after another player → loses.
