What is Trixie?
A 4-bet system on 3 selections — 3 doubles and 1 treble.
Definition
Trixie = 3 selections in 4 bets: 3 doubles + 1 treble. Like Yankee, no singles — at least 2 of 3 must win for any return. £1 unit Trixie = £4 stake. The simplest 'safety net' system, popular for backing two confident plays plus one longer-shot. Adding singles converts it to a Patent (7 bets).
Example
Trixie on 3 selections at 2.0 each, £2 unit = £8 stake. All 3 win → 3 doubles (2.0×2.0=£8) + 1 treble (£16) = £40 return.
