What is Teaser?
A US parlay variant where you adjust the spread or total of each leg in your favour at the cost of lower odds.
Definition
A teaser is a multi-leg parlay (typically 2-6 legs) where you 'tease' the line on each leg by 6, 6.5 or 7 points (NFL) or 4-5 points (NBA) in your favour. All legs must still win at the moved line. Standard 2-team 6-point teaser pays around -110 (1.91); 3-team around +160 (2.60). Teasers historically offered +EV through key NFL numbers (3 and 7) — the 'Wong teaser' strategy — but books have widened the pricing to neutralise this.
Example
2-team 6-point NFL teaser: tease Chiefs -7 to Chiefs -1, and Bills +1 to Bills +7. Both must cover the new lines for the teaser to win.
